Along the way, you’ll learn the behind-the-scenes techniques of structure, proportion, and mechanics before creating an arrangement of your own with her guidance — and a touch of personal flair. You’ll leave with a floral design of your own, along with tips for keeping it fresh at home. It’s a lovely way to bring a touch of The Inn’s artistry home with you.

Sarah Parrish is the Lead Floral Designer at The Inn at Little Washington, where she brings beauty, whimsy, and a strong sense of place to the floral program. Passionate about the Inn’s commitment to sustainability, she focuses on incorporating fresh, locally grown flowers whenever possible. Largely self-taught, Sarah has shaped her distinctive approach through hands-on experience and the mentorship of Chef Patrick O’Connell, whose vision continues to guide and inspire her work. Originally from Maryland, she feels the stars aligned in leading her to The Inn, where she delights in creating floral moments that enchant guests and deepen their sense of wonder.
