4th of July House Party

Where will you be when America turns 250?

We can imagine no more fitting place to celebrate than Little Washington — the first Washington of them all. To mark the occasion, The Inn at Little Washington will host an intimate two-day Fourth of July house party, open exclusively to our overnight guests.

Here is a sneak peek at what we have in store for this one-in-a-lifetime occasion:

Schedule of Events

Friday, July 3^rd

‍3:00pm
Arrival in Little Washington with a festive cocktail and afternoon tea in our Conservatory.

4:00pm
Settle into one of our 24 luxurious five-star guest accommodations.

4:30pm
Join us at the corner of Middle and Main Streets for a special holiday edition of The Inn’s "Goose Walk", our very own parade hosted by Farmer Andy and our flock of American Buff geese.

6:00pm
The Town of Washington will host a special holiday concert conducted by Colonel John Bourgeois, former Director of the United States Marine Band.

7:30pm
Gather by The Inn’s new pool for a private cocktail reception and dinner featuring live music, classic American picnic fare, and festivities into the evening.

Saturday, July 4^th

‍From 8:00am
The Inn's Breakfast is served in our Main Dining Room

From 12:00pm
Board an old-fashioned horse-drawn carriage for a leisurely ride through our historic village and gardens.

From 2:00pm
A special “Boston Tea Party” afternoon tea will be served at your leisure.

6:00pm
A cocktail and canape reception on the Veranda, with live music and entertainment.

7:00pm
An eight-course dinner in our Michelin-starred dining room, featuring a menu inspired by our founding fathers.

9:30pm
A private fireworks display over our new lake, viewed from our new formal garden, "The Garden of Scents".

Sunday, July 5^th
