
Restaurant General Manager
Born and raised in Transylvania, Romania, Dorin discovered hospitality at an early age while helping his father, a musician and performer, set up for weddings, restaurants, and events. Watching food, drink, music, and people come together left a lasting impression and sparked his love for creating memorable experiences.
His hospitality career began in the early 1990s at Eastern Europe’s first McDonald’s, where he learned every part of the business, from the kitchen to training new team members. He later joined the cruise industry, working his way from kitchen crew to restaurant manager while traveling to more than 90 countries.
Dorin’s journey brought him to the United States, where he spent many years with The Ritz-Carlton, including time in Sarasota and Bachelor Gulch, Colorado, as well as renowned restaurants such as Spago and Nobu Matsuhisa.
In spring 2023, Dorin joined The Inn at Little Washington, a dream opportunity he describes with deep gratitude. He is proud to be part of Chef Patrick’s “Fantality” world and is inspired daily by a team devoted to creating unforgettable memories for every guest.
