The Campus
The Inn at Little Washington was founded in 1978 in a former garage. Nowadays our campus encompasses numerous properties throughout the village, including 17 guest rooms and the Claiborne House, Gift Shops, a Cutting Garden, walking trail and a special event ballroom.
We invite you to take a stroll through one of America's last unspoiled colonial communities and admire the unique architectural diversity ranging from the 1700s to the present day.

We are located in a very rural area of Virginia, and as beautiful as it is, we have very limited cell phone coverage within a 30 mile radius of The Inn. Unless you are with Sprint, you probably will not have a cell phone signal. However, we have phones and voicemail in all of our rooms and we can transfer any incoming calls to you or to the Front Desk.
