Farm to Table Workshop

8:30 am - 4 pm at Rappahannock High School, Washington, VA
"Grow Your Own Farm to Table program" workshop is sponsored by the Headwaters Foundation for those interested in starting up Farm-to-Table programs in their won schools or making local or even student grown foods a larger part of school lunches. Features tours, lunch, talks by Trista Scheurlein and panelists who run similar programs all over Virginia.
Participants will leave with a seeding schedule to synch your growing season up with the school year, multidiciplinary lesson plans, and lots of resources from Virginia's Farm Bureau.
